Nick is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Music.
He joined the faculty at Toronto’s Classical Music Conservatory in 2006 teaching private lessons on drum set, hand percussion, music theory, and songwriting. He founded their popular “Rock Band” program in 2008. In 2015, Nick joined the faculty at University Settlement Music & Arts School in Toronto.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Nick is currently working on his first book: Universal Drumming; an instructional book for students and teachers that details his innovative, practical, and student-tested approach to learning the instrument.
2018 will see new music from two of his musical projects: RVNNERS will be releasing their self-titled debut EP and Young Doctors In Love will be releasing their album in the later part of the year.
He is a founding member of RVNNERS and is the drummer for Young Doctors in Love and NEAVV. In addition to those projects, he is a busy freelance drummer playing live and studio sessions with local and international artists.
In his spare time Nick enjoys making sourdough, lifting weights, and playing baseball.
